Community<\/span> equals our <\/span>unincorporated points that are outside polygons (aka Limits of Map Area) used as orienting features<\/span><\/p>

County Seat<\/span><\/span>; are easily identified (45, none Richland Co.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>

State Capital<\/span><\/span> for one in Richland County<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • We used TL_2020_450xx_pointlm data (by county) and compared against our GISTRANS.PLACES in ~20 counties and 91% of our places matched with the tl_2020_4500xx_pointlm data. <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • We determined the MTFCC code for the places was C3081. The other codes were other designations. <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Determined the tl_2020_45_places20 area census file were unincorporated polygons, and used to determine if points were community or unincorporated. <\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    PLACE_NAME <\/span>attribute if the name is NAME capitalized then it is a municipal and is used to label Municipals in County, City, and Metro Maps.<\/span><\/p>
